Choosing a name for my business was important. With my Greek background, I wanted something meaningful. Sképsi—an Ancient Greek word meaning ‘thought,’ ‘consideration,’ ‘contemplation’—felt right. While many assume designers sell design, what we really offer is time to think—design is the outcome of that process.
our colour palette reflects this connection to Greece—not the stereotypical blue and white, but the subtler, earthy tones of inland Greece:
Green—from the olive groves and evergreen trees scattered throughout the landscape.
Rust red—echoing the dust and aged structures of Athens and ancient ruins.
Cream—inspired by natural stone, sculptures and cobblestones found throughout Greece’s towns and cities.
